Remember the days when you had to drive down to the local video store and rent a video? You always had to worry about getting it back to the store before the due date or you were hit with additional charges. You also had the expense of gas money driving back and forth. The cost could add up and you could end up paying much more for a video.That was before the age of Internet video rentals.

Now there are videos companies out there that offer unlimited video rentals through the mail with no due dates. This is a cool advancement for those of us who love to watch movies. A couple of months ago, I decided to look into signing up for a online video rental. I wanted to do my research and see which one was best for me.

I searched several sites through Google to find some good reviews and information. I found out that the two most popular and common rental companies were Blockbuster and Netflix. I also found idolme.com comparison review which rated and reviewed both companies. Those reviews helped me decide which service was best for me.

After reviewing the various options and pricing plans of both company, I decided on Netflix. The reason was that they had a shipping center close by and I did not need the extra feature of using the store that Blockbuster offered. Since I have no Blockbuster within 40 miles of my home, this feature was of no value to me.

So far I am happy having videos delivered directly to my home and I never have to worry about the due date. The service allows you to pick several movies and add them to a list and as you return one, you get the next one from your list shipped to you. The whole service includes shipping both ways and you can choose from several plans.

For anyone that loves movies, I highly recommend using an online video rental service to save time, money, and enjoy the convenience of it all.

I have always enjoyed watching the Dave Ramsey show. His advice is clear and precise and seems to have helped a lot of people. He is straight forward and to the point in a almost folksy way. If it is stupid, he will call it stupid.

The information he provides is not really rocket science, it has been said before and it makes logical sense. The key to following his advice is that the person has to have will power and be able to commit to getting out of debt and taking control of their own finances. Many financial wizards have said the same things but it is personality that i believe helps to get his point across.

If you find yourself lost and in need of help, I highly recommend watching his show on the Fox Business Channel at 8 PM EST or listen to him on talk radio. You can also listen to him on his website . He also allows both emails and phone calls but those are often backed way up so you may or may not get through.

His website also provides some information  on getting out of debt. However, a large part of his site is dedicated to selling you a product. I do understand that he is in the business of making money but I do have a problem with how much his website is trying to sell. For a man who is dedicated to helping people become debt free, I am surprised on how much he is trying to sell to the people who need his help the most.

Listen to his advice, read all you can  for free on his site, and borrow his books from the library. He is a smart man with sound advice and following his advice will help lead you and your family to a debt free life.

As you read in my last post, I just got a new dog. She is great and has settled in quite well. One problem I do have is she is shedding like crazy. I have spoken to my vet and he has said that she has dog itchy skin similar to what happens to humans.

I went right away to search for a product that may help reduce the problem. My previous dog never had dry skin so I just bathed him with any old shampoo. However, with the new dog, I wanted a specialized dog shampoo that would help reduce the dry skin and reduce the shedding.

I went to several pet stores in the area and even the discount department stores. It was hard to find a quality product that was reasonably priced. I knew I could find great Wholesale Dog Products on the Internet so I hit the search engines to find what I wanted at a good price.

I am now waiting for my shampoo to arrive and it will be bath time for my baby. I am not sure how she will react since I have not bathed her yet. I am hoping that she will settle right down and get bathed without a problem.

One big tip that I learned from bathing a dog is to remain as calm as possible. If you get annoyed, the dog will sense it and react in a negative way. Also beware that some shampoos can stain your clothes. For this reason, wear older clothes to prevent ruining a good outfit. Above all, you will get wet. The more you try to stay dry, the wetter you get.

Bath time can be a great bonding experience if you try to enjoy it, the dog will learn that it is a fun thing. I will be sure to keep you updated on how my dog does with her bath.

A couple of weeks ago, I had to put down my fifteen year old Chow dog. He was having leg problems and he was also chewing everything including straight through steel chain link. I swore I would not get another dog but as fate had it, I found the perfect fit.

I had a German Shepard for 10 years before her hips gave out and she could no longer get up. She was the greatest friend I ever had. Well, I was on vacation a week ago and I seen an ad for a full blooded AKC registered German Shepard. I found out that she was owned by a breeding kennel and she was unable to breed. She is three years old and well trained. She is such a baby and if you let her, she will climb right in your lap.Her registered name is “Independent Thinker”.
