Beautiful Life of Zig Zag Zoom

Every where you look, everyone is talking about a time for a change. Well, I am jumping on the band wagon. Blozzz needs a new look and new direction. I have started with a brand new header. Please comment and let me know what you think. It is time to start getting serious about blogging again.

I am in the middle of some changes in my life too. Last year I had built and moved into a brand new modular home, I am in the process of getting healthier, and I am trying to find a new job or a self-employment replacement. Life is up and down and that leads to the title of the new designed blog “Blozzz: Beautiful Life Of ZigZag Zoom!” Life never leads us down a straight road and when you get enough momentum, you zoom. However, if you stop to enjoy life, it is beautiful.

With a new redesign, the blog will usher out the old and bring in some new. Some old will stay but others will go. Since I no longer raise chickens, that part will be gone. In its place will be much more posts on fitness and health. This will include advice, reviews, and personal struggles. Jump aboard for a brand new ride.

It has been a busy time and much has happened since I last posted. I have built a new modular home almost a year ago. It is a beautiful yellow house on 75 acres of land. I am planning soon to write a post about my experience with going with a modular builder.

Next life change is I lost my job about two months ago. It was a hard hit and the job market is weak. I have sent many resumes and received no responses. I went to work the second day of the school year and received a call that my position was being cut. No notice, no warning, just someone will be up to get keys and cell phone. Good Luck!

I am glad that I planned out my finances so that we could make it without my job if needed be. It puts a strain on our life plans but we will make it until the market opens up. Many people are not prepared and this causes great hardship.

Others things happening is that we no longer raise chickens and we have no pets at all now.

Life has its ups and downs but now this give time to reconnect to my readers and update my blogs. Look for an in-depth article soon ob buying the modular home way.

I will try to be more regular with my updates. Thanks and feel free to share some life happenings on the comment sections.

This is the first time I decided to use my iPod touch to update my blog. I am excited because I love using iPod.

The Word Press app is cool and seems easy to use. Most people hate typing on the touch screen but I love it. I will start updating my blog more often (hopefull) by using my iPod.

Anyone else use the iPod touch to update their blogs?

I have been extremely busy with work this school year and have hardly even had time to check email. I have not had time to do much in the way of updating my blogs. Here is a quick update why.

First since the first of the year, I have been going to the YMCA gym to work out and get in better shape. This was tough at first but now I love to go to the gym and even got my wife to join. I lost about 29 pounds and packed on some much needed muscle. I now have some definition in my biceps and legs and I am still working on my abs. I am also trying to eat a bit healthier.

I am heading into summer vacation so I will have even more time to focus on my weight loss and health. I also am reviving my blogs with new and updated posts. This blog has suffered a wee bit from some Google voodoo but I am working hard to get back my rankings in both the SERPS and the Page Rank.

All in 2008 seemed bleak. The economic crisis that faced the world was painful to watch but I muddled through. The Presidential race did not turn out very well and it was politics as usual among promises of change. There were wars and rumors of wars. Many lost their jobs as we taxpayers bailed out the rich. McCain, Obama, Clinton, and Bush all approved of the monetary rape that we took. Looking for a job had little success and the stock market crashed like nothing we have seen.

I clung to my marriage and tightened my belt. I fought harder to clear up all of my debt. I listened to Dave Ramsey to inspire me most. It was a struggle and so many lost. However, as Americans we suffered though the loss. We brushed off the dirt that our Government threw on us and we swore it would get better and for many it got worse. It was a bit of a pickle but we will survive.

With all the bleak we suffered in 2008, we know that we have much to be thankful for. I want to take this chance to wish all of my friends a wonderful healthy and prosperous New Year!

Some of you may have noticed that there is a new feature on top of the blog. It is a Red Kettle. The Salvation Army is hurting in these bad times when those in need really need the help. Maybe it is just a small thing but I am hoping my small Kettle will inspire all of you to donate to help others in need.

When I was a child, we had a time when we needed shelter and being from a family of eleven kids, that is no easy task. The Salvation Army was there for my family and I try to give back whenever I can.

I encourage all of you to help where you can. A drop of a few coins in your local kettle or you can donate directly by clicking on the Kettle above. It will take you directly to the secure Salvation Army website and you can donate as much  as little as you can afford.or

There are tons of families hurting in these hard economic times and this a way for all us to give a helping hand up through one of the best organizations in the world.

I finally opened a Twitter account to see what it is all about. It is a great social tool and sometimes you find out stuff that you would not find anywhere else.
