We often hear about the right to vote. It is in the Constitution that we have that right. However, I contend that it is also a responsibility. Many times as Americans, we sit back and are too lazy to drive to the polls. Worse yet, we just do not care. This my friend is the beginning of the end for freedom.

As much as we want to bury our heads in the sand, it is not possible. We must drag ourselves to the polls and let our voice be heard. We must stand up for what we believe and vote in those who believe the same things. It is your right, but it is also your responsibility to DEFEND the nation from take over by those you do not share values with.

This past election was just for local offices. I heard many say they do not vote except for the big elections. Guess what? Your voice carries tons more weight in local elections where many candidates win by a few votes; some as few as one. Your vote can make the difference who gets in office.

I share the frustration of many who feels like giving up because all the candidates seem to be out for number one, themselves. However, I march myself in every election to try to send then message to them. I am not a Republican, I am not a Democrat, I am an American exercising my right and responsibility to vote for the best man or woman for the job. I encourage you to never miss another election again; your freedom depends on it!

Please feel free to share your opinion and comments.

Worldwide Oil production is not on the decline as many people have been lead to believe. In fact there are many areas throughout the world that have a thriving Oil production business. One of those areas is located in the Caspian Sea and Black Sea area.

Caspian oil trading is beginning to emerge as one of the biggest markets for the oil trading. These suppliers are many of the countries that were formerly part of the Soviet Union including the country of Russia.

Caspian oil logistics is a delicate process because it involves major cargo ships and transporting through many regions of the world including volatile parts of the Middle East. However, it is well worth the diplomacy in order to increase the world supply and help lower the cost of oil for all of us.

Though we often only hear of the major suppliers of the Middle East, the Caspian Area provides a large bit of oil to help balance the world demand for oil. This is just one of many examples of thriving oil providers throughout the world.

Do not believe everything you hear when you listen to the news. Because prices go up and down, it is not always a case of supply and demand. The supply is there and as you have seen, the price of oil has went back down to finally reflect that.

Owning a blog is fun and it allows me to share my views and opinions with others and interact with others. However, to be a successful blogger to have to have a love for reading. I spend tons of timing reading all kinds of things both on the Internet and off.

As you have read on my blog, my topics vary quite a bit. I really enjoy keeping up with the latest political news. This not only allows me to learn what is happening in the world, it allows me to find topics to share with my readers. I spend at least an hour a day reading various blogs to see what others are thinking in terms of today’s political problems.

Another topic of great interest to me is religion. I am not a religious person but I do like to learn and read about the various religions. I spend time searching for great religion related article resources to find out as much as I can about all the worlds religions. I feel that by understanding the religions of others, you can understand why people do what they do.

Because reading involves knowledge, I vary my reading to include many other topics. I enjoy reading pets articles since I am an avid pet owner. As you all know, I raise chickens and I have a beautiful German Shepard. My other interest is mostly finance and investing type articles which help me make the right decisions when it comes to my money.

No matter what your interest are, if you are a blogger, you have to have a love for reading and you have to express that love to your readers. It is also important to instill the love of reading onto your children and the younger generation. It is a great time to just find some cool stuff to read about. As you read, you will find that you are gaining more knowledge and it will expand your whole world.

I have stated over and over my objections to the original Bail Out Bill. It was passed on and voted for by all my so-called representatives in Congress. I write a strongly written objection Charles Schumer, Hillary Clinton, and John McHugh and we see where the Bail Out ended up.

I received a reply from Hillary a while ago with a bullshit response and here is what I received today from Charles Schumer.

Thank you for writing and sharing your thoughts about America’s financial crisis. I agree with you that giving the Secretary of the Treasury authority over a $700 billion dollar fund to stabilize the financial system, without any checks on his authority, or oversight of his actions, would have been a grave mistake. However, the severity of this economic crisis forced the Congress to act in order to save Main Street from further financial pain. If we had not acted when we did, small businesses trying to fill orders and meet payroll, students looking to pay for college, consumers looking to buy cars and so many others would have faced even greater economic hardships, which would have been disastrous for household wealth and jobs in our country.

That is why I made the difficult decision to support the administration’s rescue plan after insisting on changes to the program to ensure that taxpayers will share in the rewards of recovery, that executives of these mismanaged financial institutions would not be enriched with taxpayer money, and that there would be effective oversight of the program. When the economy recovers, taxpayers should be able to recoup most, or all, of this money because the federal government will earn a return from any investments it makes in banks needing assistance. To hold the banks’ executives accountable, the bill requires that all companies that benefit from government assistance limit how much they pay their top employees and, in many cases, eliminate golden parachutes entirely. And to guarantee effective oversight of the rescue program, major oversight mechanisms were written into the legislation, including the creation of a new Inspector General and Congressional oversight panel.

Finally, we forced the Administration to add protections for homeowners into the bill that address the eye of the financial storm – the foreclosure crisis. Of course, this is only one part of a comprehensive solution needed to get our economy back on the right track. Congress stands ready to deliver a broad-based economic stimulus package to invest in Main Street, create new high-paying jobs, and keep the engine of our economy going.

Again, thank you for contacting me on this important issue. Please do not hesitate to contact me again if I can be of further assistance on this, or any other matter.

Sincerely,

Yes Charlie, that worked out great! We taxpayers are in such better shape now after the Bail Out. I respond publicly by stating, if it is up to me “Your Fired!”

Many of you have heard of the hearings held where Teresa Ghilarducci, an Economist, purposed that there is an overhaul of the 401k system. She proposes that each American pays an additional 5% of their income into Social Security system and that will replace their current 401K. The guarantee will be $600 a year will go into an account that earns 3% a year no matter how much you put in. The results would be no more tax breaks if you keep an additional private 401K.

I though this was completely absurd and that no politician would dare touch this. However, after watching Congressman George Miller (D), the chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee, during an interview on Fox Business Network, I am not sure. He refused to give a clear answer to Davis Asman rather he agrees or disagrees with this plan. He states that something needs to be changed. He even got a little irritated when pushed for a clear answer.

I now wonder, is this part of the Democratic plan under an Obama Presidency? It will be a good time to convince Americans with the downturn of the market. However, the private investments in the stock market over the long haul have been at the 8 to 12 percent and sometimes higher. We also have seen the disaster that the current Social Security system is.

What are you thoughts? Are you as worried as I am ? Could this really happen? Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

I recently heard this on the Dave Ramsey Show and I thought with recent events and to go a long with what I have been posting about, this would be most fitting!

This is what America is all about. This what our fore fathers wanted and this is how we did what we did in our short history as a nation. Do we still want it? I know I do!

I Do Not Choose to Be a Common Man

It is my right to be uncommon—if I can.

I seek opportunity—not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me.

I want to take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed.

I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence; the thrill of fulfillment to the stale calm of utopia.

I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat.

It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid; to think and act for myself, enjoy the benefit of my creations and to face the world boldly and say, “This I have done.”

I have heard all the campaign promises from both parties. I have seen the same false hopes that run from politicians mouth like chicken poop. I still want to know where the help is for honest Americans who pay their bills work a full time job and sometimes two or three jobs to just stay a float?

I am getting feedback both on my blogs and in regular conversations from real people who are losing their jobs and there is no help to bail out them. If they do not pay their electric or heat bill or house mortgage, what happens? They are shut off or kicked out. These average hard working Americans are the ones who know that and they do whatever they can to stand up and pay their bills. No Bail outs, no free lunch, just honest work.

Where do we, yes I include me and Karen in that group, stand in the Bush policies? Where do we stand in the Obama policies? I can tell you, we stand in a pile of huge Government spending that we are going to have to pay for. We stand by as our nation is ripped apart at the core by an ever growing Government who wishes to reward those who are too lazy to help themselves and those companies that are mismanaged because they know the tax payer will foot the bill.

It is time for the values and attitudes that this great nation as founded on are brought back to life! We need to protect our freedoms and restore out core beliefs before the monster Government devours our individuality and replaces hard working Americans with a welfare state where a hand out is much better than doing for yourself.

I said it before and I will say it again, I will go kicking screaming and fighting all the way. Our founding fathers signed a document that could have been a death warrant on their own lives. That document was the declaration of Independence! To me and many others that still means something; there is still the America we love and are proud up but it is fading fast. Are we going to allow it to fall?

Karen and I are not rich. I am struggling to find a quality job. Karen is a hard working teacher who shows up everyday and puts in 120%. We pay our bills on time and have never been late on a single bill. We have no hand outs. We ask for nothing but the right to live our life free and do what we can to improve our lives for ourselves.yet we face all the price increases and raising taxes along with every other honest hard working American family. Where the hell is our bail out?

Bush along with the help of the Democratic Controlled Congress has written a blank check to thee Henry Paulson. The purpose of this check, any damn thing he sees fit to do. All the giddy girls and those who voted for Obama thinks he will save us from all this. Did we forget, he voted for this very plan. Now he is on board in a plan to offer another bailout to the big three auto makers.

This is fast becoming a welfare state not only for the really poor but also the rich corporations. As much as these companies were mismanaged, do we really think Government involvement will do any better? Where is all the money coming from? I can tell you, it comes directly from taxes of honest hardworking Americans who suffer the economic downturn by doing what they always have. They pay for what they borrow, they pay their bills, and they pull themselves up by the bootstrap. This is the American Way!

If the back bone of America does not regroup and stand together to fight and fire these morons in Washington who are selling our futures down the road, we will soon find that it is no longer a free nation of hard working people. It will be a welfare government owned state where “we the people” are now “us poor sheep.”

How do you feel about the bailout mania and the future of America as it stands now?
