One family tradition: cook and have dinner together at home.
Why is it important? Cause we rarely can have the chance to have a meal and sit together in a table.

Our family tradition during holiday season is we see to it go home to our hometown so that we could celebrate Christmas and New Year together. We would prepare and cook food.Attend the mass, after that we would eat together and talk. It’s a wonderful experience to be able to spend our precious time with each other since we don’t see each other often because we now live in different place.

Our family tradition: We make sure to spend time during Christmas eve and new years eve — that’s thru attending mass together (we make sure that we attend mass during this occasions to thank the Lord for all the blessings He had showered us) and after that we will wait until the clock strikes 12mn then we gather together and eat the delicious foods we have prapared. (:
I really really love holidays such as Christmas and New Year since its the only time for me and my parents/family gather together to spend time much LONGER. Yeah. I am living with my hubby far from my them so I make sure that this ocasion will turn out perfect for us!
This is really important to me because just by spending time with my family is the best thing for me. They are my life, my happiness, my everything! (:

Our family tradition: All my brothers and niece will come back home. My mother then will cook delicious food. We have meal together in a table.
Why is it important:
Because we are rarely see each other. My brothers live in other state so it is hard to see them. Besides that while we have meal, we can talk, gossip and many more talk.

One family tradition that we do over and over every Christmas is that we, my parents, my aunts, uncles, cousins, brother, sister, all gather at my grandma’s house to have our meal together. Before the meal we go to attend the church mass first and after the meal we exchange gifts. It was fun because I got to see the clan.

I haven’t ever thought of it as something traditional, but we try to gather all together in our home (the whole family), to celebrate the Christmas eve, and the Christmas all united. It’s getting harder year by year to find enough time, but till now we’ve somehow managed, and it looks we’ll be again together this Christmas.
And what do we do? We go to the mass of course, and then spend the day chatting and playing various board games, exchange gifts and go and visit our relatives.
