He instilled a real interest in chemistry and I decided to study it at university. Now, if it hadn't been for Mr Taylor, I would have chosen a totally different course and gone to a different university. And if I had done that I would never have met my husband. So you could say that Mr Taylor had a profound influence over my life, far beyond the expected. I was very rebellious by nature but the foundation was there and I always came back to it. They were rock solid and excellent models of parenting and marriage.
